CNC

Mill, carve and cut solid parts for your prototypes with the iStartLab's CNC machines.

Equipment

  • 1× Ouplan Steel CNC router – ER32 collet. Located in the Hardware Shop (floor -2).
  • 1× Snapmaker Artisan with 200 W CNC module – 400 × 400 mm work area, ER11 collet. Great for smaller parts and engraving. Located in the MakerSpace (floor -1).

The Hardware Shop also has a bench drill press, a circular saw and a belt sander.

Location and access

  • The CNC router can only be used by Trained Fabricators, who book the Hardware Shop in sprints of up to 3 consecutive days.
  • Always machine with the brushes and the industrial dust extractor on.
  • At the end of each sprint, remove all your materials, clean all dust and chips and empty the vacuum cleaners.
  • Each project can store up to two spoil boards in the Hardware Shop.
